Wadadha Patience Sherry Lillian Namugere is a development professional, policy advocate, and community leader with a strong passion for social impact, youth empowerment, and sustainable development. She serves as the Community Development Director at Unity Works Foundation, where she leads initiatives that promote inclusion, empowerment, and community participation while supporting programs that improve the wellbeing of vulnerable children, families, and communities.
Patience holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and European Affairs from the University of Pécs, Hungary, and a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. Her academic background has equipped her with expertise in policy analysis, governance, international development, and community-centered leadership.
Throughout her career, she has gained extensive international experience through leadership, research, and cultural exchange programs across Europe and beyond. She served as a Research Assistant for the RADAR Project, an European Union-funded research initiative, contributing to research and policy discussions focused on social and developmental issues.
Patience has also represented her country in various Erasmus+ exchange and training programs across Europe, promoting intercultural collaboration, youth participation, and international cooperation. In 2024, she was selected as a participant in the Young Ambassadors Program in Romania, where she engaged with emerging leaders from different countries on issues of civic engagement, leadership, and social transformation.
Between 2023 and 2024, she served as an International Mentor with Angloville in Poland, supporting cultural exchange, communication development, and leadership growth among participants from diverse backgrounds. She is currently serving as a Counselor at Jumonville Camp and Retreat Center in Pennsylvania, United States, where she continues to mentor young people and contribute to personal development programs.
